Welcome to the Bluestone Grill of Hancock, New York

Lauren and Susan moved to Hancock from a Boston suburb in ’05 to find gorgeous surroundings and a much better pace of living. We found this 1890’s house and wanted to keep as much original as possible; we began restoration and construction and opened the BSG in May of ’06. The wood paneled reception room with original stenciling welcomes you as it did for the Doctor when it served as his waiting room.

We bring you seasonally changing menus, and specials that truly are special, fresh, local, organic ingredients, (Thanks Mountain Dell farm) that keep you interested in coming back to see what’s new. A result of our culinary team preparing each dish to order there might be a wait- Excellence takes time!!

We try to be as green as possible -- friends take the used oil to heat their home, we recycle, have organic spirits, and compost our food waste for the community garden and local nursery. We hope you enjoy.
